They say that Leap Days are a special day! Today I had the privilege representing the Aaron Copland School of Music and returning to my alma mater, William Floyd High School, to coach some of their violists, violinists, and even a cellist as they get ready for their NYSSMA and All-State solos. It was amazing getting to work with one of my all-time favorite stand partners, Diana Brown, who now is the orchestra director there, and the string students there are working hard and have a lot of potential. I get to work with these amazing students again in a month and can hardly wait!
