(Concerts with Modus Operandi Orchestra and the newly re-formed Hudson Valley Symphony Orchestra)
I hope everyone who celebrated (the Moms, Step-Moms, Pet Moms, Grandmothers, Maternal figures, Mentors) out there had a great Mother’s Day yesterday!
I am super excited about this week’s upcoming concerts! On Thursday, May 16th, at 7:30pm, I will be performing with the Modus Operandi Orchestra at St. Thomas Church on 5th Avenue (in NYC). The concert will be in honor of St. Thomas Church’s Bicentennial! Among the pieces that we will be performing include Richard Strauss’s Metamorphosen (hence the headline)! This is such a gorgeous piece, and it will be a great honor to perform it with some pretty incredible colleagues! Speaking of metamorphoses, I am thrilled to be playing on the inaugural concert of the Hudson Valley Symphony Orchestra, previously known as the Hudson Valley Philharmonic! We will be performing an all-John Williams concert with the esteemed conductor Andre Raphel, on Saturday, May 18th at 7pm at FDR High School in Staatsburg, NY!
