While finishing my coffee this morning, I stumbled upon a really cool email today. It was from the Recording Academy inviting me to become a voting member! They wrote:
“Congratulations, Gregory! Your peers have chosen you as one of the select individuals invited to join the Recording Academy as part of the new member class of 2024.
This invitation offers you an opportunity to serve the music community, celebrate your craft, and advocate for human creators’ rights. We hope you join us in fostering a better world for music creators.”
I am excited to now be a member of the Recording Academy, and I am looking forward to finding ways to help other musicians through our craft. I look forward to seeing who the other members of this year’s class are, and excited to learn more.
