The last few days have been a bit of a whirlwind! This past weekend I finished the tail end of my stint performing the musical Jekyll & Hyde at the White Plains Performing Arts Center. It was a ton of fun getting to collaborate with some great musicians and actors!
I write to you from an AMTRAK train heading up to Boston, one of my old stomping grounds! I will be giving a lecture recital exploring the works of Günter Raphael to Boston University’s Composer’s Forum tomorrow morning, at 9:30am! I am really excited about this, as it is my first performance in Boston since I graduated from BU over 18 years ago!
Next week I will be continuing with my Postcards tour, heading off to a residency at the University of Northern Iowa. I will performing a solo recital on Halloween, October 31st, at 8pm (Central Time), 9pm Eastern Time. Like last week’s recital at Aaron Copland School of Music, It will be live streamed. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 6, as well as Frank Bridge’s Lament for Two Violas. I am really excited about this festival and look forward to seeing how the violists in Iowa like to celebrate our beloved instrument, the viola!

I am super excited about this concert, and I am hoping to see some old friends, and family at this recital!
