My heart is full

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share yesterday’s recital in Cambridge with several dear friends, family members, and colleagues! It was truly magical in the space at the Lilypad Inman- the artwork on the walls was a great way to stimulate one’s imagination! (At least it gave me some inspiring ideas to work with while playing!) It was a real treat sharing the recital with four of my young nephews (in the 5-10 age range), and it was also fascinating seeing how each of them responded to various aspects of the recital in different ways! I heard the youngest of my nephews sweetly singing along to pizzicati that my viola was making in Anthony Green’s On/Zeker, in some instances matching the pitch! It was also amazing getting to catch up with several classmates from my time at BU, and in a few cases, getting to meet their children as well!

I am grateful for these sorts of moments to share music that I am passionate about with many special people, and I look forward to other opportunities to do this down the road. I am also looking forward to gearing up for several fun projects coming up in New York over the course of the next month, as we slide through to the end of 2024!
