Monday night’s concert with the Golden Williams Duo & Friends was really a special evening! Diana Golden and I had a ton of fun collaborating with several incredible violists and cellists: Amadi Azikiwe, Andrew Griffin, Tia Allen, Zachary Brown, Wayne Smith, and Dara Hankins at Our Saviour’s Atonement Lutheran Church.
It was an awesome experience to perform works by Anthony R. Green, Sydney Guillaume, Quinn Mason, Sakari Dixon Vanderveer, Julia Perry, Florence Price (with a beautiful arrangement by Elaine Fine), and Julius Eastman.
It was also amazing It was also amazing getting to see friends and colleagues in the audience! This was definitely one for the books!
