I hope your spring has been a relatively peaceful one so far. It has been a busy couple of weeks, and they are about to ratchet up even more as I have several exciting performances looming on the horizon!
The first performance will be taking place next Sunday with the Canterbury Choral Society, with their performance of St. John’s Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach. I am thrilled to be part of this performance as it is my first performance with this group in a few years. This concert is taking place on Sunday, April 27th at 4pm at the Church of the Heavenly Rest, at 1085 Fifth Avenue, in New York, NY. For tickets, please go to: https://www.canterburychoral.org/.

On Thursday, May 1st, at 7:30pm, I will be returning to Merkin Hall to perform with Parlando, for our season finale. We will be performing The Cabaret Project, Part I, featuring pieces by Erik Satie, Franz Schreker, and William Bolcom, with Ian Niederhoffer on the podium, and Measha Brueggergosman-Lee as soprano. For tickets, please visit: https://www.parlandonyc.org/events. (The photo below is from our concert in February 2025, which was a real highlight for me!)

On Saturday, May 3rd, at 8pm, I have the distinct honor of performing with the Huntington Choral Society, presenting Craig Hella Johnson’s epic work Considering Matthew Shepard. The concert will be held at Huntington High School. It is a truly beautiful work that captures the pain, sorrow, and healing process after the untimely murder of Matthew Shepard. I have a few more concerts coming up later in May, but I will share these with you all in the coming days, once I have had a chance to practice a bit more!
