This project was originally known as the Raphael Project, and began as an extension of the research of Günter Raphael’s music for my dissertation at the CUNY Graduate Center. Recording began in late 2018, and was completed in October 2020 at Oktaven Audios. Since I began this project, I have performed several of Raphael’s works for viola in lecture recitals and performances in Germany and Poland, as well as throughout the United States.
