Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that my recent recording of Carl Stamitz’s Concerto for Viola and Orchestra, performed with my Sacred Heart University colleague, Dr. Bryan Chuan, and interview by Emily Boyer, will be aired on the NPR station WSHU (91.1 FM) later this month. Bryan and I recorded this back in April, a few weeks before I performed the concerto live with Sacred Heart University’s Orchestra. The cadenzas performed on the air were ones that I have composed.

Tuesday, June 23, 2026: approximately 10:17am EDST

(Will repeat on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the 8-9pm hour as well)

It will air as part of their very popular series right now, America 250: The American Experience, hosted by Emily Boyer.  The 10-11am series is their most listened to classical hour which is on par with Morning Edition!

If you are out of range (the South Shore of Connecticut or Long Island, NY), you can listen freely on https://www.wshu.org/. Please feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested, especially the violists in your life.
